RICHARD S. LEVINE

	Born Pittsburgh, PA, USA 1947.
	B.S. in Chemistry. Carnegie-Mellon University, Pittsburgh, PA, 1968. Graduated with Honors.
	M.S. in Physical Chemistry. University of Illinois, Urbana, Illinois, 1971. Additional graduate level courses at University of Illinois in Metallurgical, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.
	University of Illinois Physical Plant in charge of chemical projects including water treatment and corrosion control for 60 steam absorption chillers. Solved major corrosion problem inside absorption chillers.
	Founded Industrial Corrosion Management, Inc. in 1973. Offered absorption chiller Lithium Bromide analytical services and corrosion control to hundreds of service contractors and chiller owners across the United States.
	As part of ICM, Inc. established environmental testing facility in late 1970's for thousands of clients including US EPA, NJ DEP, Fortune 500 companies, etc. At its peak in 1994, the laboratory employed 95 and was one of the top 50 facilities of its type in the U.S.
	Finalist: Inc. Magazine's Entrepreneur of the Year, 1991. Listed in various Who's Who publications. ICM was started with a $700 investment and when sold, had annual sales of $4 million.
	Designed and authored hundreds of computer programs for air conditioning and environmental laboratory management and data processing.
	Sold ICM, Inc. in 1997 and established LBD ASSOCIATES, LLC to offer Lithium Bromide/absorption chiller corrosion control consulting. In 2004, LBD began offering freelance writing services.
	Authored various documents over a 25 year period including numerous technical and non-technical publications, brochures and other promotional pieces, hundreds of in-house memos, employee handbooks, SOP's, company newsletters, instruction manuals, proposal requests, advertisements, etc.
	Designed and developed LBD ASSOCIATES website, www.lbdassociates.com.
	Skilled in explaining technical issues to non-technical persons. Strong communication abilities.
