Graduate level courses at University of Illinois in Metallurgical, Electrical
and Mechanical Engineering. |
| Worked at University of Illinois Physical Plant in charge of chemical projects including water treatment and corrosion control for 60 steam absorption chillers. Solved major corrosion problem inside absorption chillers. Saved the University many thousands of dollars both in terms of maintenance expense and mechanical equipment replacement costs. |
| Founded Industrial Corrosion Management, Inc. in 1973. Offered absorption chiller Lithium Bromide analytical services and corrosion control to hundreds of service contractors and chiller owners across the United States. |
| As part of of ICM, Inc. established environmental testing facility for thousands of clients including US EPA, NJ DEP, Fortune 500 companies, etc. The laboratory employed 90 plus and was one of the top 50 facilities of its type in the U.S. |
| Sold ICM, Inc. in 1997 and established LBD ASSOCIATES, LLC to offer Lithium Bromide/absorption chiller corrosion control services. |
| Listed in various Who's Who publications. Former member of American Chemical Society. Former member of National Association of Corrosion Engineers, ASHRAE. |
| Finalist in Inc. Magazine's Entrepreneur of the Year, 1991. ICM was started with a $700 investment and when sold in the late 1990's, had annual sales of $3-$4 million. |
| Numerous technical publications. |
| Designed and authored 100's of computer programs for air conditioning and environmental laboratory management and data processing. |
| 2011: United District Court Eastern District of New York, Case No.
CV-04-3172 (FB)(CLP) Menorah Home and Hospital for the Aged and Infirm (Third-Party Plaintiff) against The Trane Company (Third-Party Defendant). Absorption chiller corrosion expert witness for Plaintiff. Judgement in favor of the Plaintiff with full damages awarded. |
